The place I'm staying at has its own private carpark with a remote-controlled gate system. This is causing some problems because of inconsiderate non-residents who are so bent on saving some pennies, thus choosing to park their cars here (they could do so cos there isn't any security check or when the gate has not completely closed after a resident drives in) without considering the consequences.
There are so many occasions that they aren't lucky enough to have the gate open when they want to leave. When that happens, they come up and knock on our door, ring our door bell endlessly, and expect us to fish out our remote for them just so that they could drive their cars out. It's almost like harrassment. The standard line is " You have remote?", all without fear or guilt or shame. There was even once when I was downstairs with the remote to help bf open the gate, when an auntie who didn't live here came up to me and pointed to my remote, "aye, press, press." and drove off without saying thanks. Today it's a lady who kept ringing our door bell asking for the remote, and when I said i didn't have it, she even proceeded to ask "who would have it in your block?" Good gracious...she would have to fix that problem herself since she had invited it. We can't possibly encourage such acts.
The parking lots are meant for use by the residents and their visitors only. Please use your coupons, there are public carparks available.
Now, who says Singaporeans are obedient and follow rules? Hands up!

Monopoly has always been a game that I liked since young. I was thrilled when dad bought me the classic monopoly game set when I was in primary school/secondary school. Yes I've always wanted to be a millionaire...haha...I enjoy building houses and hotels on all the strategic locations on the board. I still have the set kept in rather good condition and play it occasionally.
Now, Mac's has come up with an innovative marketing idea. I think it's brilliant. The ads caught my attention when they first appeared on the television.
And so we went to Mac's for our Sunday dinner! It was fun just peeling off the labels, anticipating what laid beneath. Although we very much knew that there are some property title deeds that simply could not have appeared at this stage of the marketing campaign. And although the top prize does not entitle you to be a millionaire, well, $50k is attractive enough!
Waiting for my Sentosa Cove is like finding a needle in a haystack. But sometimes it's the process that counts.(i dun mind the ipod too.)

I received a piece of good news this morning - I was offered the opportunity to work on a very prestigious and major tax project. Needless to say I took up the project.:)A once in a lifetime experience probably, and definitely the most exciting project to-date at the very least.
Looking forward to it!

Flash Mob at Raffles Place!
Did anyone catch the flash mob at Raffles Place? It's a pity I didn't manage to be present to watch that but someone took a video and posted it on Youtube. It's randomly cute! Certainly added some vibrancy to RP. Just imagine mass dancing on the streets. I like how it all started out to be a usual working day...people walking about as per normal...and then suddenly music came in and some started dancing...and then more joined in...when it all ended, those dancers in working attire just walked away as though nothing had happened and went back to their usual routine. Haha I thought this was brillant:-

Can't wait for the IR's construction to be completed in year 2010! Not for the gambling but for the Universal Studios Sgp theme park. The seven zones of USS: Hollywood, New York, Madagascar,Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away. Featuring 24 different rides. I'm certain it will be a fun-filled experience.
Singapore is fantastic!

Nice visit to the airport today even though wasn't there for a holiday trip. :) It's pretty good to be there for a meal, a short walk and to observe people.
Found this rather cute random picture that I thought I could put it up here.
Here the iron says "irony!!".
Reason for putting this up is? I am feeling as cool as a heated iron right now, thanks to the weather! :p
